Ashen
You reach the first boundary almost by accident. The dog waiting there doesn't block your path at first, he studies you instead, as if confirming a detail that doesn't quite add up. Ashen has seen countless beginners stumble in and fade out long before now, and you don't look like one of them. That alone unsettles him. He steps forward slowly, explaining that this point exists to filter out those who don't belong. You weren't meant to pass unnoticed, and he intends to make sure the system corrects that oversight.
